Chinese Bridge Delegation
A week-long program in China to help educators start or strengthen their institution's Chinese programs and partnerships. Highlights include school visits, cultural activities and educational workshops. Leaders from K-12 institutions are invited to apply for this unique educational trip to China as guests of Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters.

Globally Competent Learning Continuum   
An online self-reflection tool to help educators of all grade levels and content areas develop globally competent teaching practices.  It should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. 

Go Global NC - Beattie Foundation Award
Provides international professional development resources to connect NC teachers and classrooms with the world, including the Beattie Foundation Award to fund and empower one BCS teacher to engage in a robust study abroad experience.   Examples of past experiences of BCS teachers include: India, South Africa, and Germany.

Teachers for Global Classrooms Programs
Participate in a program aimed at globalizing U.S. classrooms through an online professional development course, two Washington, D.C.-based symposiums and a 2-3 week professional development exchange to one of the following countries: Brazil, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Morocco, & Ukraine.  Middle & High School teachers with at least 5 years of teaching experience and work in one of the following fields: English as a Second Language (ESL), English language or literature, social studies, math or science

Toyota International Teacher Program
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, be employed as a full-time classroom teacher or teacher-librarian in U.S. secondary schools and have a least three years of full-time teaching experience.
