Presidents' Day at Black Mountain Primary
Presidents' Day was February 20th. To make the day special, 2nd grade teacher Mr. Lehman of Black Mountain Primary delighted his students (and the online community) by teaching class dressed as Abraham Lincoln!

Reynolds Madrigal Sings with American-British Rock Band
When the Madrigal Singers from A.C. Reynolds High walked out, the crowd was already erupting- with lights blazing, guitars gleaming, and music blaring. It was a performance finale for Foreigner-  the iconic rock band formed in 1976- and everyone was waiting to shout the lyrics of “I Want to Know What Love Is.”

Playhouse Project Showcases CTE
For the past seven months, students of the Buncombe County Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program have been hard at work completing their playhouses for the 5th Annual Playhouse Showdown held last Saturday at the Asheville Home Builders Association’s Build & Remodel Expo.

Reynolds Principal Interviewed for Dept. of Public Instruction Video
Doris Sellers of A. C. Reynolds High School, our Regional Principal of the Year, will be part of a video celebrating all regional winners. The video will be shown in May during an NCDPI banquet where the North Carolina Principal of the Year will be announced!
