Buncombe Middle College Commencement
BCMC students celebrated a milestone Monday evening as students walked across the stage of Ferguson Auditorium at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College to receive their diplomas! The Asheville Citizen-Times captured these wonderful images of the special event.

Three outstanding high school students will take part in a unique career development opportunity this summer. Throughout the nine-day program, students focus on emerging issues in public health, medical ethics, research, and general practice. (See the social media post and photo here.)

In this week's #TeacherFeature, we meet Ricky and Sherri Parham, a dynamic duo in the #BCS family. This husband and wife team are both bus drivers. Each afternoon, they share a Community High route dropping students off at home, and then they run separate routes bringing Enka High students home. Duke Energy's Elementary STEM Lab Grant

Pie Your Principal
The students at Avery's Creek Elementary got a treat on Friday! As a reward for raising $1,600 for the school, the students got to throw pies at the Principal! Enjoy this extra sweet "Never Stop Learning" segment from WLOS.
