Project Lead The Way

PLTW

Project Lead The Way provides a comprehensive approach to STEM Education. Through activity-, project-, and problem-based curriculum, PLTW gives students in kindergarten through high school a chance to apply what they know, identify problems, find unique solutions, and lead their own learning. For educators, our engaging, rigorous teacher professional development model provides tools to empower students and transform the classroom into a collaboration space where content comes to life.

PLTW as 0 or 5th Period

All High School students have the opportunity to take a PLTW course with the 0 and 5th period option.  Juniors and Seniors can register to take a PLTW class of their choice before or after school.  Introduction to Engineering and Design, Principles of Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Digital Electronics and Environmental Sustainability will be offered for 0 and 5th period at the Martin Nesbit Academy.  See the Career Development Coordinator at your school for more information.
