2018 Teacher of the Year

Meet the 2018 Teacher of the Year! 
It was all about celebrating BCS teachers at the annual Teacher of the Year Banquet held at Celine & Co. in downtown Asheville! Elizabeth Love, a 9th grade English teacher at A.C. Reynolds High School, has been selected as the 2018 Buncombe County Teacher of the Year. Brandi Fleckenstein was announced as the recipient of the Ruth Henderson Award. Buncombe Works Together for Hurricane Relief
BCS has teamed up with MANNA FoodBank, the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office, Mission Health, and the Smart Insurance Agency to collect items to assist victims of recent hurricanes. Learn how you can help!

Mr. Haynie: Mix 96.5 Teacher of the Month
Congratulations to Mr. Phillip Haynie, Choral Director at A.C. Reynolds High School, for being chosen as the Mix 96.5 Teacher of the Month! Local radio personalities Tammy and Kipper from The Morning Mix show paid Mr. Haynie a surprise visit to share the good news.
