All County Chorus Clinic (Elem., Int., and Middle)

Over 230 talented students from all BCS elementary, intermediate, and middle schools will sing and study choral music at next week’s All County Choral Clinic. The public performance will be held on Tuesday evening of February 20, 2018, at 7 p.m. at Brookstone Church (90 Griffee Rd., Weaverville, NC).

Students will collaborate and learn from experienced guest conductors and accompanists from around the state during clinics held on Monday and Tuesday. 

The guest conductor for the Elementary/Intermediate school chorus will be Dr. Nana Wolfe-Hill, Associate Director of Choral Activities and Assistant Professor of Music at Wingate University. The group’s accompanist will be Kristen Dominguez of Candler, NC. The student singers will perform works by Handel, Shelton and Dilworth.

The guest conductor for the Middle School chorus will be Bethany Jennings, Choral Director at Stuart Cramer High School, Belmont, NC. This group’s accompanist will be Kyle Ritter of Asheville, NC. Students will perform works by Berg, Miller and Pinkzebra.

Tuesday evening’s concert is free and open to the public.
