More than 230 talented singers from all BCS elementary, intermediate, and middle schools performed for the All-County Choral Clinic at Brookstone Church in Weaverville on Tuesday.

Parents and music lovers came out to hear the students sing works by Handel, Shelton, Dilworth, Berg, Miller, and Pinkzebra in Brookstone’s beautiful worship center. Students spent the day Tuesday putting the final flourishes on their repertoire during dress rehearsals.

The guest conductor for the Elementary/Intermediate school chorus was Dr. Nana Wolfe-Hill, Associate Director of Choral Activities and Assistant Professor of Music at Wingate University. The group’s accompanist was Kristen Dominguez of Candler. The guest conductor for the Middle School chorus was Bethany Jennings, Choral Director at Stuart W. Cramer High School in Belmont, N.C. The group’s accompanist was Kyle Ritter of Asheville. Students performed works by Berg, Miller and Pinkzebra.
