Hurricane Recovery Supply Drive-Extended!
Hurricane Recovery Supply Drive- Extended
Posted on 10/06/2017

Buncombe County Schools has teamed up with MANNA FoodBank, the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office, Mission Health, and the Smart Insurance Agency to collect items to assist victims of recent hurricanes.

We are asking our parents, students, teachers, and staff to donate (if they are able) the following items: soap/shampoo, toothpaste/toothbrushes, deodorant, handheld, shelf-stable snacks, and pop top entree foods. Most of our schools will have collection barrels set up for the donations. This drive is extended through October 13.

Members of the public may bring donations to Smart Insurance Agency located at 499 New Leicester Highway. Also, you may make a monetary donation directly to Manna via their website!

We're grateful for this unique collaboration to do our part to help those affected by recent devastating storms.

Here's a look at our progress so far! Thanks to everyone who donated!

Buncombe County Schools is in the process of reviewing its website to ensure compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
