As part of the packet of papers you received at Meet the Teacher this year, there was an Opt-In Form to sign your child up for a library card with the Buncombe County Public Library system. Even if your child already has a physical library card, this is a great way to ensure that they can access the NC Kids Digital Library through SORA while at school. They also will be able to use their student ID number, if they would like, to visit the library and borrow books outside of school hours. Any BCS student who would like Buncombe County Public Library access with their student ID must sign up by October 1st 2024. The next opportunity to opt-in to this program will not be until the 25-26 school year.
