GOING ON NOW!!! Goodwill Trailer Fundraiser - Nov 2nd-15th PTO continues the tradition of the Goodwill Trailer Fundraiser which will run from Nov 2nd-15th. The trailer will be parked at the lower student lot close to the gatehouse, and your gently used donations can be dropped off Mon-Fri between 7:15am-7:45pm. The school earns funds per pound of donated items, which will be used for school projects. This is a great opportunity to clean out before the holidays and donate your used items to a great cause! Please share this with your family and friends as well. Please mark your calendars for the next PTO Meeting: Tuesday, November 15th, 5:00 p.m. in the Media Center. Everyone is welcome Mountain Fairy Hair Fundraiser- November 21st at the Grange Start your Thanksgiving Holiday by coming to the Grange at 120 Broadway Avenue, Black Mountain, and get Fairy Hair! Appointments are in 15 minute increments and will occur between 3pm-7pm. The Buncombe County Board of Education will meet in regular session on November 2, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. in the Minitorium at 175 Bingham Road, Asheville. **Public Comment will be accepted in person. Members of the public wishing to speak will need to come to Entrance “B”. Doors will open at 4:45 p.m. and speakers must arrive no later than 5:15 p.m. to complete entrance screening procedures and sign in to speak. All speakers will have precisely three minutes to speak and must adhere to guidelines set forth in BCS Policy #2310 – Public Participation, including all reasonable rules established by the Superintendent. **Following monthly Public Comments, the Board will hear public comments specifically related to the required board policies addressing the State’s Parents Bill of Rights statutes.
