At West Buncombe Elementary, Hispanic Heritage Month was welcomed with excitement as the Dual Language teachers dressed in their beautiful native attire and greeted students and parents during Friday morning’s car rider line.
The vibrant colors and traditional dresses brought smiles to students’ faces, creating a memorable start to the day. Principal Brad Johnson joined in on the fun, praising the event as a meaningful way to honor Hispanic culture and celebrate the diversity that makes West Buncombe Elementary so special.
“West Buncombe Elementary is a wonderfully diverse school, and we are delighted to celebrate and showcase the diversity,” said Mr. Johnson ”This event was a fantastic way to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month and honor the rich cultural backgrounds of our teachers, students, and their families.”
This celebration provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn about and appreciate the cultural traditions of their teachers and classmates, making it a memorable morning for all.
