Buncombe County Schools families can find out in real time how close their school bus is to their stop. A new app called Edulog is now available for bus routes throughout the school system.

“This is another way we can enhance communication with families,” shared BCS Transportation Director Jeremy Stowe. “Families can opt in to get alerts when the bus is a half mile away from picking up their student. Parents are also notified in the afternoon when the bus is approaching to bring students back home.”

The Edulog app, which is free to download, is designed to help make it easier for families to adjust to back-to-school routines.

“Especially at the start of a new school year, there can be a lot of anxiety and stress. We hope this helps with that,” Stowe said.

If for any reason there are bus schedule delays, parents can use Edulog to see exactly where the bus is located. Click here to download the Edulog app.
