Parent Services
At Enka High School, we welcome parent involvement! There are many opportunities for parents to take part in their child's education. We encourage parents to attend registration with their child on a yearly basis to ensure they receive the proper academic guidance. We also recommend that parents call the counseling office to schedule a conference with their child's teachers during the school year.
During testing at the end of each semester, we are in need of parents to help us proctor exams. Enka High also depends on the assistance of parents to judge Senior Projects.
Enka parents continue to be extremely involved with our band and athletic booster clubs. Our fine arts department also needs volunteers to help sell tickets and support Enka's musical at the end of the year. Without parent involvement, these programs would suffer greatly.
If you are interested in becoming an Enka volunteer, you are encouraged to contact Donna Hyatt in the Counseling Office by calling 670-5000 or emailing donna.hyatt@bcsemail.org. Ms. Hyatt will be happy to contact you when volunteers are needed in the school. You are also welcome to talk to individual teachers if you would be willing to volunteer in their classrooms when the need arises.
We are extremely thankful for every volunteer who helps make a difference at Enka High School. We couldn't do it without you!
