BCS earned a total of eight Blue Ribbon Awards for outstanding and effective communication. NCSPRA presented the awards during a special ceremony held in High Point, NC on February 10, 2023.
BCS received seven Gold awards and one Bronze level award. NCSPRA recognizes outstanding communications through its Blue Ribbon Awards program each year. This year’s submission categories included: Marketing, Digital Media Engagement, Electronic Media, Excellence in Writing, Publications, Image/Graphic Design, Photography, and Special Projects and Events.
"Our team was honored to be recognized for the work we do daily to promote the staff, students, and programs that make Buncombe County Schools amazing," said Director of Communications, Dr. Stacia Harris. "This team understands how important it is to 'tell our story' and shine a light on our outstanding district. We know BCS is a great choice for families; our mission is to use our time, talent, and connections to reach parents and potential parents."
