Students and staff are climbing to new heights at Buncombe County Center for Career Innovation (BCCI).
BCCI is the newest high school at Buncombe County Schools (BCS), and it’s pushing students to try new things. As a way to build comradery, students enjoyed a fun filled day at the Adventure Center of Asheville.
“Students witnessed each other being vulnerable,” said English teacher Amy Wiesner. “They were probably surprised by how adventurous some of their classmates were and how some classmates recognized their boundaries.”
BCCI is a career-focused school that utilizes local partnerships and an innovative curriculum to support any student to develop the skills and experiences necessary to graduate with a job offer and be prepared for a career in our local community.
