The Skyland Fire Department has graciously donated radios to T.C. Roberson’s Progressive Education Program (PEP), which will improve safety communication between classrooms, the front office, and first responders.
Fire Chief Trevor Lance and Deputy Chief Zach Cicillian hand-delivered the walkie-talkies to Ms. Melanie Ramsey, PEP’s principal, on Friday September 9.
“We are excited to get the radios into the classrooms and improve our safety,” said Ms. Ramsey. “This way, no one has to fumble for their cell phones to call in case of an emergency. We appreciate the Skyland Fire and Rescue Team and our continued community relationship with them.”
