A.C. Reynolds Middle School opened in 1956. It opened as a high school. In 1976, A.C. Reynolds High School opened on the hill, and Reynolds Middle became a grade 6 - 8 school that housed students from Fairview, Haw Creek, Oakley, and Bell. A.C. Reynolds Middle School currently has 479 students and 72 staff members dedicated to student success.
"We take pride in teaching the whole child," said Principal Stanley Wheless. "We strive to have our students excel in academics, arts, and athletics. We have had great success in all three areas over the years. The Reynolds Community is what makes this school special. The community is so supportive of the things we do here. They support our academic programs, our sports programs, and our arts programs. They are actively involved in our school. This community takes pride in all the Reynolds District schools."
