Congratulations to Enka High School's Master Sergeant Doug Draper for being named an FSIoffice Teacher of the Month Finalist for October, and we need your votes to help him win!
FSI Office provides various office supplies to customers across the Southeast. Throughout the year, parents, students, coworkers, and friends nominate their favorite educators for this honor. These are educators who excel in leading and teaching.
Thursday, Master Sergeant Draper was surprised with the news during class with his JROTC cadets and fellow JROTC Instructor, Major Kevin Den Boer, cheering him on. A representative from FSI Office presented Draper with a box of school supplies worth $600.
Master Sergeant Draper was nominated for a number of accomplishments including: He and his cadets accumulated over 2,000 community service hours, nominated students for important scholarships, empowered cadets to manage valuable uniforms and equipment, implemented rigorous and effective physical training program, plans and executes the annual JROTC Awards Banquet, and participates in many Honor Guard events.
“Master Sergeant Draper is an incredibly motivated and inspiring JROTC instructor. He is truly helping to mold future leaders,” his nominator said.
